The Pro-coagulation Tube obtains serum specimens for biochemistry and immunology tests. Its interior wall is finely coated with coagulant that promotes clotting in a relatively short time while avoiding hemolysis caused by overly rapid clotting. Transparent serum is separated after centrifugation.
